THE END DOES NOT SEE
Film description:
The End Does Not See follows the journey of seven dancers on a sailing ship, discovering its limitation with the state of fear. Laura climbs down from the top of the boat encountering a labyrinth of people and later a couple dance on the wall, she enters the canteen where everybody gets stuck and unstuck. As the levels of the boat descend, the space goes narrower and the trap that the dancers are living is enlarged. Laura, overwhelmed, finishes the journey alone at the bottom, but climbing down again from the top.
Bios:
Davide Belotti enters the art world through cinema in 2018 and theatre in 2019. Performer and director, captures the dynamism of the motion and the stillness of the emotion. Currently based in Belgium as a freelancer, he travels around the world with his camera collaborating with international artists.
Borna Babic as a freelance dancer and choreographer based in Brussels. He started working with Club Guy & Roni in the tour of Mechanical Ecstasy (2018). In 2019 he became part of Ultima Vez with Die Bakchen, Traces (2019) and Hands do not touch your precious Me (2021). As a young maker he choreographed the dance movie The end does not see (2021) for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam. Same year he created his first full-evening performance Okvir / The frame for Zagreb Dance Company.
