MEET THE ARTISTS

TAYLOR HAN 
Taylor Han is performer and choreographer from Dundee Scotland. She trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and has just finished touring with EDge 2019 the' postgraduate performance company of London Contemporary Dance School. Something else is a work in progress dance piece choreographed and performed by Taylor Han in collaboration with musician and composer Alex Paton. The work has an emphasis on the exploration of the dancer’s relation to music. Alex and Taylor compose and choreograph through exploration of the same shared tasks, in their own artistic mediums. The piece examines the concepts of beginnings and endings. And everything in between.

REBECCA EVANS 
Rebecca Evans has been performing professionally in the UK and abroad for 8 years, most recently with Marc Brew Company.  As Choreographer and Artistic Director of Pell Ensemble since 2012 Rebecca has developed and delivered digital dance performance, installations and engagement work in the UK & abroad.  Her practice has included combining movement with live coding, generative projection, 360 sound, walking apps and interactive lighting. She was on The BENCH 2015/2016 and has been commissioned by 2Faced Dance, Wilton’s Strike, Spontaneous Combustion Festival, The Vaults and Athens Digital Arts Festival. Recently Rebecca was one of 10 choreographers selected by Studio Wayne McGregor to take part in QuestlabNetwork, a nationally significant program developing cross-disciplinary digital and dance practices. Rebecca's current focus with PELL ENSEMBLE is exploring how human stories and technology are meeting and swiftly evolving. www.pellensemble.com

JOCELYN MAH
Jocelyn Mah is a Canadian performer and choreographer who graduated in 2017 from the School of Dance Toronto . She has danced with Kaeja d’Dance, Michael Menegon’s Sound of Movement, Near&Far Projects among others and she has just finished touring with EDge 2019 the postgraduate performance company of London Contemporary Dance School. Jocelyn's interest lies in the relationship between music and dance with strong influences from Jazz . Her choreographic works have been shown in Canadian Festivals such as August Augusta and The Summer Works Performance Festival. Five Taken is a duet exploring  the impact of music on dancers, inspired by the soulful personalities of The Dave Brubeck Quartet's Take Five andBlue Rondo à la Turk .

PAULINA LENOIR & NANCY TROTTER - LANDRY
Paulina and Nancy have extensive experience in performance and choreography individually and have now come together to create new work combining dance, physical theatre and absurd comedy . Paulina trained at L'Ecole Phillipe Gaulier in Paris and co -created theatre group Lobster Quadrille in 2015.Nancy trained at the Ecole Internationale de Theatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris and began her career as a singer, dancer and ring mistress in the highly acclaimed Giffords Circus, for eleven years she has worked in film, theatre and circus. Together they are developing a new visceral  piece about two people's journey on a sinking ship.
